Taking photos of these puppies has been wild so apologies for some blurd photos.
I’m afraid my blog entries this year have been appalling. Between work commitments and home commitments I haven’t had time to update things. I think most of you think I have dropped off the face off the earth but I promise to keep updated a bit more regularly next year. The main website urgently needs updating and I hope to get organised to get this sorted early in the new year.
Well we have had a lousy winter so far. It has been bitterly cold and we have had more snow than I can ever remember here and for weeks. I was one of the unlucky people stranded at a UK airport just before Christmas for 4 days. Not a nice experience for me nor my employer who footed my expenses bill.
Training has almost halted again for the second year in a row because the weather has prevented us getting out. We do not have enough snow for the sled and too much ice to get the van out of our driveway, For anyone who has seen our driveway you will understand why.
Most people know we sadly lost Dogbert a few months back. A devastating time for Michael and I and with it happening so suddenly a hard thing to come to terms with. Cancer is a horrible disease.
On a happier note we kept 2 pups from his last litter, Ping & Twilight. Both are looking very promising with Ping displaying so many Dogbert traits it is scary.
In September Zippy got his 3rd CC and made up to UK Champion which was great. Then also in September we got a dog from Helen Patterson in Scotland who is out of 2 Seppala imports. Bear has settled very well both in harness and with all the other boys. We are extremely pleased with him and plan to show him this year.

Fudge
We decided to try mating Fudge again and used Judy & Hugh’s Woody. F udge has been Michael’s main leader since she was 13months old and now at 7 has produced 5 puppies. She has 3 females and 2 males. (photos to follow)
Our computer has been down for the last few weeks and had to eventually have the hard drive replaced. I am really bad because I don’t back up my files that often so there was a bit of a panic as to whether everything was lost. Luckily not. These photos were taken three weeks ago when the pups were 7 weeks.

I haven’t even looked at this blog never mind updated it since last year. Hopefully I will find the time to keep things up to date more often. I will also look at totally updating the website which hasn’t been done for a long time. (Steve if you are reading this be prepared for all my new bits and pieces).
Where do I start with news. We had a terrible winter with no snow just solid ice in Ireland which meant we lost nearly 5 weeks training over dec/jan and cancelled all the events we were going to take part in. Roll on next season!!!
Zimina has had 4 puppies to Dogbert All are doing well and I will be starting to feed them this week.
Zippy got his 2nd CC at SKC the other day and I was thrilled. It always comes when you least expect it. Just number 3 to get now!!
